What you will learn in this program:

  • Design professional interfaces offering quality user experiences;
  • Develop empathy and insights using Web analytics and qualitative and quantitative methods;
  • Leverage insights from data in order to propose empirically-based recommendations;
  • Prototype low-tech mock-ups to high-fidelity interactive interfaces; and
  • Execute formal lab evaluations for all user testing, including compliance testing.

This programs consists of 7 courses (MOOCs):

Introduction to User Experience

This course will review the fundamental elements of UX practice (e.g., UX project, key concepts, activities, roles, deliverables, etc).

What you will learn in this course:

  • UX stakeholders;
  • User, client and citizen experiences
  • UX ROI and KPIs.

UX Research

In this course, you will learn how to connect with users at every step of a digital product’s life; how to develop empathy and recognize insights that will nourish the design and evaluation processes.

What you will learn in this course:
  • Thorough knowledge of all user data collection in an IT project;
  • User research methods and process;
  • Internal, external, primary and secondary data sources;
  • Purposes, pros and cons of qualitative and quantitative UX methods;
  • User interviews, focus groups, observations, surveys, analytics, physiological data collecting, card sorting, to user testing and A / B testing;
  • Collected data analysis to extract pertinent insights.

UX Design

Master Design Thinking and UX Design through user-centred design to deliver innovative user experiences. Learn divergent ideation methods to bring creativity to problem-solving, and convergent ideation methods within your business context.

  • How UX prototyping synchs up with user testing.

UX Evaluation

Master UX evaluation using a variety of skill sets and methods. Uncover the knowledge of user testing from a guerilla approach to formal lab evaluations required for compliance tests.

What you will learn in this course:
  • Empirically-based user testing principles;
  • Test validity;
  • Test cycle involving real users;
  • Evaluation methods for all steps of the UX project, from heuristic evaluation, usability testing, to standard user testing and A / B testing;
  • Qualitative and quantitative methods;
  • Perceptual, behavioural, attitudinal and physiological assessments of the user’s experience.

UX Data Analysis

Become a UX data scientist! From qualitative data analysis to big data Web analytics, you will be able to leverage insights from data to make empirically-based recommendations.
