Valéry Ridde is Director of Research at CEPED (http://www.ceped.org), a Joint Research Unit involving the University of Paris and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD). He is currently hosting the Institute of Health and Development (ISED) at the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (Senegal). His research work focuses on universal health coverage, health service financing, program evaluation, public health policies and health promotion
